ABOUT US

We are a campus club that consists of students from the University of Ottawa and more, who are striving to support UNICEF's ability to provide life-saving programs in 156 countries and territories around the world by raising funds.

It is our hope to continue growing in all aspects; as a club, within our campus, within the community, and as a source of help for every child.

UNICEF uOttawa aims to raise awareness and fundraise money to help children all over the world. The money we raise goes towards UNICEF as a mass donation or can be donated through survival gifts, such as First-Aid Kits, backpacks, and vaccines. Other gifts, such as soccer balls, skipping ropes, and storybooks help give children the right to play.

The members of UNICEF uOttawa are devoted to improving all aspects of the club year by year.

Joining UNICEF uOttawa is a great way to make new friends, make meaningful impacts on campus, share ideas with like minded people, develop new skills and talents, all while being able to participate in exciting volunteer-led activities!

UNICEF uOttawa is made up of incredibly special and talented individuals with a collective passion and commitment to bringing awareness to global humanitarian issues that affect the rights of children and youth. With each fundraising event, we bring to light these complex issues in a digestible and clear way that stimulates conversation and stirs interest among students to learn more, advocate, donate and be a part of meaningful change.
