Peacebuilding seeks to address the underlying causes of conflicts, helping people to resolve their differences peacefully and lay the foundations to prevent future violence (conciliation resources) (https://www.c-r.org).

Our lineage (progenies, heirs, offspring) are the pillars, cornerstones, and backbones of the society, they need an undeniable access to peace, education and all other primordial services that accompanies it.

The concept of child labor, child maltreatment, and reaping children off their innocence is a problem that strongly affects today’s society. The concept behind children’s protection is a powerful tool that needs to be revived, revised, and implemented in order to reinforce and maintain children in a good living standard.

In almost all developing countries, children and young people make up most of the population -- up to 70 per cent in some cases. If children are to shape their future, we must all strive to ensure that they are aware of their rights and that these rights are observed, protected, and safeguarded and with so many children and youth at risk, progress with the Sustainable Development Goals is threatened unless action is taken to break the vicious cycle of poverty and social exclusion that is the reality for so many (Equal Opportunity Community Initiative).

United Nations – Over five million children are now in need of humanitarian assistance because of the war in Ukraine, with "consequences for children at a scale and speed not seen since World War II," the United Nations' children's agency, UNICEF, said Tuesday.

"Almost two out of every three children have been displaced by fighting," UNICEF said in a statement. 3 million children inside Ukraine and over 2.2 million children in refugee-hosting countries are now in need of humanitarian assistance, and at least 262 children have been killed and 415 have been injured.

In Cameroon due to the anglophone crisis, tens of thousands of children were denied the chance to go to school for months on end, sometimes years. By 2018 , an estimated 4000 Anglophone schools had shuttered , eventually depriving over 700, 000 children of regular classes for almost four academic years. The conflict has killed about 6000 people, displaced more than 500,000 (the Africa report) .

Child’s protection is a powerful strategy in combating illiteracy, maintaining peace and stability, many countries were destabilized by war which was detrimental in many aspects, the child, by reason of his physical and mental immaturity, needs special safeguards and care, including appropriate legal protection, before as well as after birth" (united nations human rights, UNHR)
